Creativity is at the very heart of life at Neptune. This couldn’t ring more true of our incredibly innovative Store and Interior Design team. Here you’ll find creative and technical forces really come together to turn an inspiring design vision into a breath taking reality in the form of our retail stores and residential properties. Our buildings range from Cotswold stone townhouses, complete Neptune new builds and even a 17th century gate lodge, each with their own individual features and quirks.

Take a peek at some of our completed stores by looking for the ‘find a store’ tab on our website.  With a lot more stores and residential projects on the horizon, they just keep getting better and better. For us it’s all in the detail. From the small, intricate elements combined with the larger essentials that really make our properties stand out, they make a real difference.

We’ve grown into a busy team of nearly 700, globally, with an ever-expanding property portfolio.  These locations comprise a rich assortment of buildings from our purpose designed and built 140,000 sq-ft head office to quirky and characterful old pubs; all with their own story to tell.

At Neptune, we love a challenge. We don’t just stick to our beautiful retail stores, we also develop residential buildings too! We aim to do everything ourselves, which includes finding and securing properties, re-designing them architecturally to enhance their historical bones and even building them from scratch.

As an experienced and fully qualified Architect, you’ll work closely with our Store Design Manager to:

  • Develop store and residential architectural concept drawings for planning and build detailing
  • Create detailed drawing packs for construction by working in tandem with our in-house project management and build teams
  • Attend regular site visits to ensure projects are delivered to a high standard and design decisions are addressed efficiently
  • Design, develop and detail construction methods in partnership with our interior architects to ensure a seamless aesthetic throughout our projects; we want them to ‘wow’!

You’ll be an adaptable and versatile person who ideally has knowledge of both residential and commercial projects.  We’re looking for someone with an eye for detail and a passion for developing exciting and inspiring high-end buildings. If you happen to know about steel-framed buildings too, that’d be great.

Not only do we offer a highly competitive salary but also a discretionary bonus scheme, pension and a great range of other benefits.  If we’ve engaged your senses and you’d like to know more, please send your CV, portfolio and current salary details.

We're fortunate to receive hundreds and hundreds of applications every week. You'll never receive an automated email from us - it's something that we find too impersonal - and while we try to respond to every email, the sheer volume sometimes makes that difficult. So, if you don't hear from us within 14 days, this means your application hasn't been successful but we thank you very much for your interest in our business.
