This multidisciplinary, architectural practice requires a project-running, high calibre Senior Architectural Technician due to current and pipe-line workload, who can work independently and part of a team, based in Billericay. In addition to proficiency in AutoCAD, use of Revit and an understanding of BIM through all stages of a project programme is also an advantage, however training can be provided.

The position involves running projects across a broad range of sectors, and in particular within education, healthcare and residential. The role entails delivery of construction packages and working within a dynamic in-house team comprising of architect and project manager, interior designer, building contractor and development manager.

Required technical skills:

  • AutoCAD and Revit proficiency
  • production of construction and detail drawing packages
  • building regulations compliance proficiency
  • tender information: scope of works and building/NBS specifications production
  • external consultants design and coordination (structural engineer, M&E etc)
  • site assistance

Required personal skills:

  • dynamic
  • can work independently or in a team
  • good communication skills
  • excellent written skills
  • competent
  • an eye for detail
