Salary: £37,800 per annum, based upon experience and location
Location: London/Hybrid working with two days a week in our central London office
Hours: 35 hours per week, full-time, fixed term contract for 12 months
About the Role
We have an opportunity for an enthusiastic and creative Marketing Executive to join our dynamic Marketing and Communications team on a 12-month fixed term contract starting as soon as possible. The Marketing Executive manages campaigns to promote RIBA, its activities, events and thought leadership initiatives, covering topics from inspirational building design to sustainable architecture and business management. Their portfolio includes:
Working with the Marketing Manager, Membership to drive membership growth Creating and implementing marketing campaigns to support membership retention Creating and implementing targeted campaigns to optimise member engagement with our campaigns, events, thought leadership activities and other programmes Profiling our members and their work - helping them to win more projects and gain recognition for their work Developing and delivering engaging, tailored member communications across multiple channels including e-mails, e-newsletters and web Key responsibilities:
Developing and delivering tactical marketing campaigns across the full marketing mix to meet targets and KPIs Planning campaign budgets and monitoring marketing spend Monitoring/measuring campaign outcomes, reporting back on ROI using Google Analytics and other reporting tools, offering insight and making recommendations for change and optimisation Audience segmentation, analysis and targeting Publishing and curating digital content Content marketing: developing, commissioning and optimising website content Producing effective marketing collateral (digital and print) and working with external agencies and suppliers Developing and activating email marketing campaigns Data management Implementing organic and paid Social Media marketing campaigns Event marketing to drive ticket sales and attendance, and providing on-site support Ensuring all activities are on-brand
What are we looking for?
We are seeking an experienced, creative all-round marketer with 2+ years in a Marketing Executive or similar role and experience of planning and delivering tactical marketing campaigns using the full marketing mix.
You will need to demonstrate an understanding of the needs of different customer groups, possess strong organisational skills, and be able to manage multiple tasks whilst prioritising workload to meet deadlines. You will also have excellent copywriting and proofreading skills.
You should have experience in delivering email, social media and content marketing campaigns and be familiar with email platforms, CRM and CMS systems. Additionally, you will be able to deliver insightful campaign reporting to aid decision making, using Google Analytics and other reporting tools.
Our ideal candidate will be commercially minded with the resilience to navigate complex environments. They will have the ability to manage diverse stakeholder needs and communicate ideas effectively, both in writing and verbally.
A business/marketing qualification is desirable.
Experience of working in a marketing capacity in a membership organisation would be advantageous but not essential.
