Junior Architectural Technologist

We are seeking a junior Architectural Technologist, with expertise in AutoCAD and a focus on residential projects, including new builds and extensions. Expertise with SIP construction is beneficial but not necessary. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team working on a variety of residential developments, delivering high-quality designs and technical solutions from concept to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

• AutoCAD: Produce accurate general arrangement and detailed technical drawings for residential projects, including new builds and extensions.
• Technical Documentation: Prepare construction drawings, schedules, and building regulation submissions, ensuring compliance with relevant standards.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with architects, engineers, and other professionals to resolve design and technical issues.
• Quality Control: Ensure the accuracy and consistency of all drawings, models, and documents.  

Key Requirements:

• Experience: 1+ years as an Architectural Technologist, with a focus on residential projects (extensions and loft conversions).
• AutoCAD Expertise:  Proficiency in AutoCAD 
• Technical Knowledge: Solid understanding of residential construction, building regs, and technical detailing. Knowledge of SIP construction is good but not essential. 
• Qualifications: Relevant degree or diploma in Architectural Technology or related field.
• Skills: Excellent attention to detail, strong communication, and problem-solving abilities.
