Associate Architect

Uniquely balanced, well-compensated, and flexible position for an ambitious and autonomous, experienced architect. This associate-level role in a small but well-established London-based practice, requires working on high-end residential projects around the UK and across Europe. The position allows for flexible working and considerate working hours. Candidates should have completed finely executed projects in lead design and lead project-management roles, and performed CA and QS roles for JCT contracts.

• Salary £45,000 to £52,000 depending on experience
• Working hours 9am-6pm with one hour lunch break
• 25 days holiday (plus public holidays)

Minimum requirements:

• ARB registered
• English level C1 (Advanced)
• Strong Vectorworks 2019 skills
• Five years post Part III practice experience in the UK
• Thorough knowledge of JCT Contracts and administration processes
• Fully conversant with the UK Building Regulations and Planning Policies, and Party Wall Act 1996
• Good project running skills (proven track record) and time management
• Experience in the private residential sector
• Strong technical skills and the ability to deliver a project from the detailed design stages to completion 
• Design and presentation skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Client management skills and experience
