Due to an expanding workload in the Defence and Nuclear sectors, AECOM are recruiting for Architects and Technologists at all levels, for roles in our Manchester and Warrington offices. Experience in the above sectors and being a nuclear suitably qualified experienced person would be highly advantageous, but not essential. It is essential that candidates either hold or can obtain UK security clearances at SC level without restrictions. Staff will be aligned to the Manchester office, but would be expected to also work at least 1 day a week out of the Birchwood Park office.

You’ll be working closely with the multi-disciplinary design teams, clients, and contractors. Excellent communication skills are essential.

All roles require candidates to:
- Have a strong design and technical ability and be highly computer literate.
- Have strong Revit skills (a must) and BIM awareness.
- Be highly organised with attention to detail.
- Have architectural or technical qualifications relevant to the role.
- Preferably, you will demonstrate a wide experience of design and project management within the regulated industries, and have worked previously on industrial, process driven and highly serviced projects.
- Relevant experience in other sectors, i.e. government, retail, healthcare, education, offices, laboratories, residential, transport will also be considered.

Qualifications:
- Experience working on UK defence and nuclear sector projects desirable
- Experience of running/working on multiple jobs simultaneously, which can be fast paced.
- Experience working with multi-stakeholder clients and framework project delivery.
- Experience working on projects in Scotland and England.
- Experience working in multi-disciplinary design teams.
