Director

We are excited to be working with a long-established architectural practice, specialising in healthcare architecture, as they look to appoint a new Director. This is a senior leadership role, crucial in shaping the future direction of the practice. This opportunity arises due to the planned retirement of the current directors, offering a unique opportunity to step into a well-positioned and successful business with strong foundations.

As Director, you will take on the mantle of leading and developing Healthcare Architectural Projects. You’ll be responsible for maintaining and nurturing existing relationships and projects while also driving growth by developing new clients and securing exciting new projects.

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications, skills and attributes:

• Registered Architect
• 10 years* post qualified experience with 5 years within the healthcare sector.
• Extensive background working on healthcare schemes, with a proven track record of delivering complex hospital and medical projects.
• A passion for leadership and business development, with a desire to grow the practice and contribute to its ongoing success.
• The ability to grow and manage a team, inspiring and mentoring talent within the business.
• A strong strategic mindset to drive the business forward while maintaining its reputation for excellence.

Based in West Sussex, the practice is easily commutable from London, Surrey, Brighton, and surrounding areas.

Ideal start date would be the 2nd January 2025, however this can be flexible for the right person. Interviews are taking place now.
