Architect

Evoke Architecture has an exciting opportunity for a talented Architect to join our growing practice in Chester. We currently have three Architects and an Architectural Assistant Part 1 and work as a close knit team. 

We are looking for a highly motivated individual who is passionate about great design. You will have the ability to identify opportunities with lots of responsibility and the freedom to deliver results across all RIBA work stages, primarily 1 through to 4.

We specialise in 3D design using BIM software and applicants would preferably be proficient in ArchiCAD. 

The candidate should have the ability and experience to work at project delivery level, manage projects and have a thorough knowledge of the UK Planning System and Building Regulations. We are keen to talk to Architects with at least 5 years post qualification experience. Previous experience working in an architectural practice is a necessity.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

• Research, program, plan, design, and administer building projects for clients, applying knowledge of architectural design, construction detailing, construction procedures, building regulations, and building materials and systems.
• Produce conceptual plans, renderings, and documents.
• Plan and program layout of project(s); coordinates and integrates engineering elements into unified design for client review and approval.
• Utilise computer-assisted design software and equipment to prepare project designs and plans.
• Produce construction documents in ArchiCAD.
• Work in tandem with highly collaborative multi-discipline design teams.
• Assist in research and coordination of materials and products for project specifications.

Hours - Monday to Friday, Full Time/ Part Time.

Location - Office in Chester CH1 1NN, grade II listed building, open plan office looking down onto Chester City Centre.
