Architect / Architectural Technologist / Architectural Technician / Part II Architectural Assistant

We are looking for talented individuals to join our practice in Winchester.

There are multiple positions to join our growing team and we are looking for Architects, Technologists, Architectural Technicians, and Part II Architectural Assistants to submit applications. Applicants should ideally be proactive, detail oriented, and able to demonstrate excellent communication and drafting skills. 

Witcher Crawford are a medium sized practice working predominantly in the high end private domestic sectors across the whole of southern England.  We embrace all forms of architectural design that best suit our clients’ needs or requirements. We are passionate about making sure that our projects are well crafted and detailed to a high standard.

Below are the ideal skills and abilities that candidates should have:

• Strong and clear technical and graphic communication skills.
• UK based project experience, residential preferred. 
• Good working skills of AutoCAD preferred.
• Working knowledge of Sketchup would also be ideal.
• A high standard of written and spoken English.
• A team player who efficiently manages their time, deadlines, and workload.
• A confident communicator who can build strong working relationships within our team and fellow trades.
• Due to the locations of many of our projects, candidates should possess a valid driving license and their own vehicle. We will also accept candidates who are in the process of obtaining their license. 

Applicants applying for an Architect position should be able to meet the following additional criteria:

• Working knowledge of Construction Detailing and UK Statutory Building Regulations.
• Experience in Contract Administration for building contracts.
• UK experience across RIBA stages 3 to 5 on residential projects essential.

We offer a competitive salary that will be based on experience and skill set. Negotiable during the interview process. 

Candidates must be eligible to work in the UK and have permanent UK status.
