My client, a leading architecture practice based in Blackfriars, London, is seeking an experienced Senior Architect to join their team. Specialising in sectors such as aviation, education, rail, hospitality, and healthcare, my client is known for delivering innovative and sustainable design solutions across the UK, Ireland, and UAE.

Job Summary:

This role involves a wide-ranging architectural design, coordination, and liaison function with responsibilities for team leadership and project management. The position operates under a hybrid working policy, with a minimum of 2 days per week required at the Blackfriars office.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Control: Manage all stages of the RIBA Plan of Work (0-7), coordinate project documentation, and lead project meetings and reviews.

• Design Control: Develop and oversee design solutions, ensuring all elements are integrated into the overall design.

• Commercial Control: Manage project resources, budgets, and client communications to meet profit targets.

• Quality Control: Implement the company’s Quality Management System and participate in audits.

• Team Management: Lead and manage the project team, defining roles and responsibilities, and identifying training needs.

• Business Development: Identify business opportunities and contribute to preparing bids and submissions.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Extensive technical knowledge and experience in architecture.

• Strong understanding of construction and building legislation.

• Proven project management skills with a focus on efficiency and profitability.

• Excellent communication, team leadership, and software skills.

• Registration with the Architects Registration Board (ARB).
