I am actively seeking a passionate Architectural Technician to join a thriving Architectural Practice with more than thirty years of experience, this architectural firm is well-known for its dedication to producing superior design and technical proficiency. The dynamic practice, which specialises in both the residential and commercial sectors, has built a varied portfolio that includes projects for healthcare, education, and custom houses. Also on offer is flexible working hours a generous pension and 25 days of annual leave. You will be joining a talented team of Architects, Building surveyors and Technicians.

The successful Architectural Technician will have post qualification experience, with strong technical drawing and detailing abilities as well as being well versed in Revit and AutoCAD.

Skills, Experience and Responsibilities for the role of Architectural Technician:

• Degree or HND/HNC in architectural technology or related subject
• Post qualification experience in a UK architectural practice
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit
• Thorough knowledge of Building regulations and NHBC standards
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Be able to hit ground running
• Work confidently both independently and in a team
• Keen eye for detail
• Strong technical abilities
• Effective time management and organisation skills
• Capable at producing high quality detailed drawings and packages
• Comfortable liaising with clients, contractors and local authorities
• Ideally experience working in the residential sector
• Job running experience
• Proactive and positive approach to work
• Live locally to Preston
