Project Architect

We are currently recruiting for a Project Architect to join an award winning, multi-disciplinary consultancy based in South East London. This is an excellent opportunity for an Project Architect to join and develop a career within a talented, growing company. Our client are built up of multiple talented specialist teams, who provide support and services at every RIBA stage from strategic definition through to handover, occupation and use.

The role will involve working independently, producing details, design solutions, taking task ownership and responsibility as well as technically delivering projects. Our client's workload is predominantly new build high rise projects, but also incorporates regeneration / public realm, education and leisure projects. The practice is looking for a Project Architect that has experience in at least one of these sectors with a keen interest in the others. They mainly use AutoCAD, but also Revit and Sketchup occasionally so experience with these software's would be highly advantageous.

• Managing projects and responsible for producing full detailed design/tender packages, technical details, schedules and NBS specifications
• Producing high quality drawings using a variety of Revit and AutoCAD
• Creating a variety of plan, following building laws, safety regulations and sticking with a budget
• Carrying out site visits
• Working across all RIBA, including supporting with technical aspects of a project
• Supporting and overseeing junior members of staff

• Minimum of 3 years+ post qualification experience
• Proficient with AutoCAD or Revit
• Residential High-Rise experience preferred
• Strong communication skills
• Living in or around the London area
• Highly motivated with an excellent work ethic
• Excellent knowledge of UK Building Regulations and Standards
• Capable of working both independently and as part of a team
