Architectural Assistant Part 1/Admin Assistant is a combined role supporting the London studio in operations and being the ambassador of Lawray to our clients, visitors and suppliers.

Duties:

  • Provide the studio with administrative support as required, including basic housekeeping tasks, greeting clients and visitors, answering the telephone and purchasing supplies.
  • Coordinate details of projects including building specifications, dimensions, assisting with initial project research.
  • Prepare, develop and edit drawings, models, images and other documents relating to the design to meet the specifications of the clients, under the guidance of the project leader or nominated architect.
  • Develop where required, representations of design options for further discussion by the design team.
  • Manage the work packages given to sub consultants.
  • Be motivated and get involved in all the aspects of the process.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in similar role.
  • Evidence of a good design understanding e.g. a good design portfolio.
  • Proficiency in Revit (essential), AutoCAD, and other architectural software.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and creative thinking skills.
  • Highly organised and self motivated.

Salary may fall below National Living Wage should you choose for the Company to pay your university fees.
