Experienced Part III Architect/Part II Architectural Assistant

OPEN architecture, one of Kent’s leading architectural and interior design practices, is looking for an experienced Architect or  Part II Architectural Assistant to join our friendly team to help with our expanding workload.

We are an award-winning RIBA practice, and we work on a wide variety of exciting projects throughout many sectors, including private residential, large-scale development, commercial and retail schemes. Working across these various sectors and building types lends itself to a dynamic and collaborative approach within a stimulating environment.

This position is for a Project Leader within the private residential sector with experience of project running and extensive building/regulation knowledge in order to oversee a number of projects through to completion.

Basic requirements are:

• RIBA Part II/III
• 7+ years’ experience with demonstrable skills in project running
• Good all-round front end technical, graphic and design skills
• Ability to communicate with clients, colleagues and design teams effectively
• AutoCAD, and Adobe Suite experience required
• Passionate about design
• Motivated and organised
• Good verbal and written presentation skills
• Willingness to learn and foster good relationships
• Positive and upbeat attitude
• Must have a driver's license and access to a car

What you can expect from us:

• Subject to completion of probation period, successful candidates may receive assistance to obtaining their Part III, if required.
• 28-31 Days Annual Leave (Including bank holidays)

Salary is negotiable and based on experience.

This position is not suitable if you live aboard as you will be required to attend the offices.
