If you are a visionary leader, with a passion for architectural excellence, looking for the next step in your career and want to join a practice where you can make a difference – this may be the role for you.

Based in the heart of Chichester, Smith Simmons & Partners is a multi-disciplinary practice of planning specialists and architects who collaboratively deliver inspiring projects.

We are looking for a passionate and engaging Associate Director to use their strong architectural and leadership expertise to play a pivotal role in assisting with our continued growth and positively shape our business.

Reporting to the Partners, this integral new role will lead on architectural projects and play a key part to actively support business development and client engagement.  You will also use your leadership skills to manage and mentor our growing architecture team.  To support our continued success, we are also currently recruiting for two further additional roles within the architectural team.

We are highly ambitious and since we established, we have substantially and sustainably grown both locally and beyond, particularly in the residential and commercial sectors.  We have built an excellent reputation and are proud of our strong portfolio of exceptional and complex residential and commercial projects. We have predominately focused on creating inspiring traditional developments and are looking to expand our reach to include more sectors.

Whilst you will be experienced in numerous architectural typologies, you will be able to demonstrate a genuine creative passion and sensitivity for designing and delivering projects that will complement and enhance our portfolio. Strong experience within conservation and heritage settings is a distinct advantage.

This is a role with plenty of opportunity, in an environment where your voice will be heard, your input is valued and where there is plenty of scope for personal growth and development. You will be passionate about advancing your career within a dynamic, forward thinking and fast paced environment.
