Penguin Recruitment are thrilled to be working with a long-standing client based in central Manchester, on an exciting new Associate Architect role. This role could also suit an Associate level who is more technically biased and is the perfect opportunity for an experienced professional to join a talented team of Architects, Technicians, Technologists, Designers and Assistants.

Our client specialise in the Industrial sector, so the ideal candidate will be well versed in this type of work. However, relevant project experience will also be considered. As part of this role, you will be responsible for the running of projects, overseeing site visits, supporting on the management of the design team alongside the Directors, mentor and support the more junior staff and complete work to a high standard within the given time frames.

Skills, Experience & Responsibilities for the role of Associate Architect:

• ARB registered or relevant CIAT accreditation if applying as an Associate Technician/ Technologist.
• Lead the team across all RIBA stages, predominantly focussing on the Industrial sector.
• Ensure projects are completed to a high standard within given time frames.
• Support and mentor the junior members of the team.
• Excellent communication skills- you will be expected to lead client meeting and have extensive experience in this.
• It would be advantageous to have a proven track record in the Industrial sectors.
• Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit.
• Able to manage a medium sized team.
• Some of your projects you would work on would include Energy & Waste, Distribution & Logistics, Datacentre, Manufacturing, and other similar Industrial led projects.
