PlanningHub is seeking talented Architect/ Architectural Assistant to join our team in building, shaping, and scaling up our AI-powered platform for answering property development planning questions.

Who We Are: At PlanningHub, our mission is to provide highly accurate, fast, and easy-to-understand answers to property development planning questions, ultimately boosting the delivery of much-needed housing. Currently, sifting through vast amounts of data manually is time-consuming, error-prone, and leads to delays and financial waste. Our platform streamlines this process using software and AI, including LLMs (Large Language Models).

Led by Ewa Moskwiak, a RIBA Chartered Architect, and Prof Harald Braun, specializing in software and AI, our team is expanding to accelerate the development of our platform.

Who We Are Looking For:

We seek talented, experienced and energetic Architect/ / Architectural Assistant to lead the transition of complex planning legislation and policies into a software code.

Your experience:

  • minimum 3 years work experience in projects involving planning application process in the UK in either private or public sector
  • ability to provide expert advice on planning policies and regulations- we are looking for candidates who can answer complex planning questions very good understanding of planning policies and their implications on the planning feasibility of development
  • experience in working with various projects across multiple geographies ability to think analytically to translate complex queries into software code
  • ability to work under pressure and often to tight deadlines
  • ability to think analytically.


  Qualifications

  • Degree in Urban Planning, Architecture, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in planning in the UK
  • Membership of a relevant professional body (e.g., RTPI) very welcome
  • Strong knowledge of UK planning policies and regulations.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Understanding of planning across England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland preferred
  • Proficiency in internet searching, Microsoft Suite, Experience in vector based drawing tools

Other requirements

Candidates should be based in London and willing to commute to Geovation Hub, London EC1V 7EN, daily or when required. Availability ASAP in July, with some flexibility offered to suitable candidates. We are seeking candidates permanently based in the UK. Since we require a long-term commitment, we regret to inform you that we cannot accept candidates with short-term visas, including post-graduate visas.
