Architectural Technologist Job in Fulham, London

A friendly, boutique-sized architecture practice is looking for an Architectural Technologist. This is an excellent opportunity for anyone looking to work on contemporary high-end residential refurbishments and new builds for both, private clients and developers.

Established in 2011, the practice has a strong portfolio of clean and cohesive schemes in super-prime areas of London, including Knightsbridge, Chelsea, Notting Hill, and Fulham.

You will be given exposure across all stages of their projects with a core focus on all the technical stages and in-house development is supported, in order to encourage you to reach your full ability. The role would suit a motivated, driven, and diligent individual looking to expand their skills and knowledge within a high-profile environment.

Recent projects include a refurbishment with a basement in Putney and a rebuild in Wandsworth. Some previous projects have been townhouse refurbishments in Chelsea and Mews Houses in Notting Hill and Knightsbridge. You will continue to work on these types of projects and locations.

Role & Responsibilities

• To work on high-end residential schemes in London's most prime locations, project values range from £1million £3 million pounds
• Produce working drawing packages
• Preparation of tender information and construction documentation (drawings and NBS)
• Development of detailed and technical designs
• Work in both new build and refurbishment projects
• Reporting to the Directors on your progress.

Required Skills & Experience

• Qualified as an Architectural Technologist/Technician, with a minimum of 3 year's professional working experience within a UK practice
• Vectorworks is desirable but applications without this will be considered
• Construction pack production and detail design experience
• Experience working on high-end residential projects in London locations
• Strong technical detailing ability
• Excellent English, both written and verbal + eligible to work in the UK.

What you get back

• Salary of £36,000 - £45,000
• 23 days holiday + bank holidays

• Work from home Fridays should workload allow.
