Senior Architectural Technician Job in Leamington Spa, Midlands

We are now exclusively representing a Senior Architectural Technician job, based in Leamington Spa. This opportunity is with an industry-leading practice, in the heritage and conservation sectors. They are currently working on several high-profile projects both public and private.

This practice work on all manner of conservation from museums and galleries, to palaces and private estates and have attained an attractive portfolio leading to a prestigious reputation within the sector. The firm supports personal and professional development of its employees and will be happy to discuss your development and progression within the practice.

Role & Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate design teams on projects
• Coordinate client and stakeholder meetings answering any questions as they come up
• Work alongside existing team and senior staff to meet deadlines
• Demonstrate your strong technical and design skills
• Working on a project from conception to completion
• You will be required to carry out site visits, regular travel is to be expected within this role
• Communicate regularly and report to the directors.

Required Skills & Experience

• 10 years of industry experience, ideally working with traditional buildings and techniques (however conservation experience is not essential for this role)
• A degree, HND or HNC as an Architectural Technologist
• Previous experience working on historic building conservation is highly desirable
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Experience working across all RIBA stages and administration of historic building contracts
• A Knowledge of Microsoft Office is required and InDesign is desirable
• Proficient in Vectorworks and AutoCAD.
