Building Standards Technical Officer (x2)

Location: This role is Pan Wales which means that the location, in which the vacancy can be based, is flexible across Wales, subject to the needs of the business. The posts offers an exciting opportunity to be involved in the development and implementation of Welsh Government policy for buildings in Wales. The role will include responsibility for technical aspects of the Building Safety Act, the Building Act 1984/ Building Regulations 2010 and statutory guidance. 

Applicants should hold a recognised construction professional qualification (e.g. RIBA/ARB, RICS (Building Control), CABE, CIOB) or a related professionally accredited degree, and experience in one of four disciplines – surveying (e.g. building control), architecture, building engineering, and fire engineering.
