An opportunity for an able and motivated individual to join the Publishing & Learning Content department.

 

About the Role

The Publishing Coordinator provides effective and efficient administrative support for the smooth running of the RIBA Publishing and Learning Content department.

 

This includes supporting the Director of Publishing & Learning Content and working closely with the books commissioning team on the preparation and checking of manuscripts and images, while providing support for Learning Content and the organisation of Professional events.

 

This a fixed-term contract for 12 months to support the secondment of the current Publishing Coordinator to the journal team to support a digital CMS project.

 

What are we looking for?

  • A keen interest in the architectural sector and publishing.
  • Good interpersonal and written communication skills.
  • A working knowledge of clearing image and text permission for publication would be advantageous.
  • Experience in financial administration, such as purchase orders and tracking budgets.
  • Willingness to develop technical skills, such as those required for the journal’s content management system.
  • Requires excellent time management and organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload.
  • A team player with initiative, who is willing to collaborate and learn.
