Salary: £26-28,000 Dependant on experience
My client is a leading architectural practice renowned for its innovative approach and commitment to excellence. With a diverse portfolio spanning residential, commercial, hospitality, healthcare, education, and cultural sectors, they specialise in creating extraordinary spaces that enrich lives and inspire communities.
I am looking to speak with experienced Architectural Assistant's to join their dynamic team on a permanent basis. The ideal candidate will have a passion for design and a proven track record of contributing to projects across various sectors. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a wide range of projects and collaborate with talented professionals in a supportive and creative environment.
To be considered, you must have several years UK based experience.
Skills, Experience & Responsibilities for the role of Architectural Assistant:
- Relevant RIBA Part 1 and/or 2 degree with at least several years UK based experience.
- Collaborate with architects and designers on projects spanning residential, commercial, hospitality, healthcare, education, and cultural sectors.
- Assist in developing design concepts and translating them into technical drawings and documentation.
- Participate in client presentations, effectively communicating design concepts and ideas.
- Contribute to design development through research, material selection, and product sourcing.
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and vendors to ensure project requirements are met within established timelines and budgets.
- Proven experience working as an Architectural Assistant across multiple sectors.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong understanding of architectural principles, construction techniques, and building codes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
- Detail-oriented with a keen eye for design aesthetics and quality.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
