Architectural Technologist

Hayward Smart Architects are on the lookout for a passionate and motivated Architectural Technologist to contribute to the creation of extraordinary, sustainable and bespoke spaces that enrich the lives our clients.

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with at least 3 years’ experience in the UK, who will thrive on the responsibility to provide technical design solutions and information for our innovative domestic, commercial and community projects, collaborating with all members of the design team.

The Role will include :

·         Navigating projects through RIBA Stages 4-6, involving some client liaison for design decisions, technical delivery of tender information, and site-attendance during construction (depending on the project).

·         Providing support for projects in RIBA Stages 2-3.

·         Office based role in the market town of Shipston-on-Stour.

What we're looking for :

·         Strong technical expertise in construction methods and materials, coupled with an in-depth understanding of building regulations, standards, and construction.

·         Excellent communication skills; drawn, verbal and written.

·         Experience in collaborating with clients, contractors, and industry professionals.

Your experience :

·         Qualified Architectural Technologist.

·         Min. 3 years of UK experience in the technical design of domestic and commercial projects.

·         Experience with Vectorworks, Sketch-Up and Adobe Design Suite on Apple Mac is preferable, but training will be given. 

What you can expect :

·         Salary will be subject to experience but in the range of £30-40,000 per annum.

·         20 days annual leave + bank holidays (increasing with length of service).

·         Regular CPDs.
