Our client, a forward-thinking investor, developer, and manager specialising in high-end residential and commercial/mixed-use properties in London, is seeking to expand its in-house architecture team to support its current projects and future ventures. With a growing portfolio exceeding £130 million, they are now focusing on enhancing their in-house design capabilities and are looking to hire a Lead/Senior Architect and an Architect to join their dynamic team.

The company, known for collaborating with leading architectural practices, is transitioning towards an in-house approach to project development. While continuing to work on complex projects in partnership with renowned architects, they are keen to integrate a dedicated in-house team to oversee projects across all stages, with a particular focus on prime residential, private members' clubs, and Michelin-starred restaurants.

The Lead/Senior Architect role will be the first addition to the team, followed by the Architect (or equivalent). Both positions will involve:

  • Holding a Master's degree or equivalent in architecture
  • Demonstrating proven experience in high-profile project work
  • Showcasing strong conceptual, graphic, and design skills illustrated through a comprehensive portfolio
  • Utilising regulatory and technical design knowledge to innovate solutions
  • Exhibiting proficiency in remodeling existing buildings and listed building experience (advantageous)
  • Demonstrating expertise in 3D and 2D software (Revit, Microstation, AutoCAD, Adobe Suite, 3ds Max, Rhino, etc.)They are of the mindset that software can be taught/learned, so we welcome people with different skills
  • Possessing effective project management and team leadership abilities
  • Demonstrating extensive coordination experience with contractors and consultants
  • Exhibiting excellent communication skills, proactive approach, and self-motivation, with a willingness to mentor others
  • Thriving in a fast-paced environment and demonstrating a strong understanding of interiors

In addition to a competitive salary and bonus, the company offers a range of benefits, including discretionary annual bonus, 25 days annual leave, Vitality healthcare, BUPA dental care, standard statutory pension, access to a private gym, and complimentary breakfast cereals, snacks, and fruit.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team at the forefront of London's real estate sector and contribute to the development of iconic projects in the city.
