Hours: 35 hours per week, full time, permanent contract

About the Role

RIBA is looking to sustain and grow its membership both in the UK and internationally. This role plays a pivotal role in leading, developing and delivering this aim. You will be managing the Development and the Stakeholder Management teams and creating and implementing recruitment strategies across a range of membership grades, both individual and organisational.

What are we looking for?

  • Experience of working in a consumer service business (ideally in a membership organisation) where retention, loyalty and recruitment of customers/members are important to the business and organisation.
  • A strong senior leader with impressive negotiation, communication and presentation skills, who has successfully led teams, managed resources and budgets, worked collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders and developed client/member recruitment plans.
  • Experience of setting and delivering sales objectives through the introduction and management of individual and team KPI’s and providing the necessary coaching, support and feedback to ensure team members successfully deliver their own individual objectives.
  • Strong numerically, able to construct, interrogate and fluently present financial data to different stakeholder groups.
  • Experience of producing and presenting reports, project managing and leading meetings.
  • An understanding of the nature of professional membership organisations.
  • An ability to motivate a dispersed team of colleagues with membership recruitment responsibilities.
  • Excellent knowledge of CRM database management and experience of creating bespoke reports, interrogating and manipulating data and using the information to inform strategic decisions
