Experienced Part III Architect with at least 3-5 year’s post qualification experience.

Have a real impact on how an ambitious and dynamic design company operates.  We are looking for a talented Part III Architect with at least 3-5+ years post qualification experience, to help create fantastic homes in London, the South East of England and beyond.

About Us

Aura Architecture are an award winning practice focused on residential projects for both private clients and developers across the south east of England and beyond.

These range from £250K to >£1m private contracts and multi unit developer led projects up to 20-30units.

Part of the larger XP Group, we have a strong business focus on delivering high quality, exciting projects for our clients, while ensuring the continued business success and growth of Aura.

About You

You will help create and remodel fantastic homes for private clients and the SME property development sector.

You will be design focused, with a strong business mindset, and able to take projects from initial consultation through to site, taking a lead role on the design and management of your own projects, as well as giving advice to less experienced team members.

You will be an ambassador for the practice, taking up opportunities to be involved in the marketing and promotion of the practice, for example attending client or consultant networking events. .

Key Skills Requirement:

  1. RIBA Part 3 qualified with minimum three-five plus years' PQE
  2. Demonstrable experience of leading similar scale residential projects – private, developer led, or both - through all stages from feasibility to delivery on site.
  3. Confident with Revit and Autocad, with experience of the supporting software such as SketchUp, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Suite.
  4. Fully aware of the relevant legal, financial and time constraints of the projects you manage, both to the client and the office, and be confident in managing your time to ensure projects are completed within the budget available.   
  5. Strong knowledge of the relevant planning and Building Control legislation.
  6. Confident person and strong communicator, reporting directly to the Design & Operations Director, and providing oversight and support of more junior team members as required.
