Our London studio seeks a motivated and forward-thinking Senior Architect with a background in successfully delivering medium to large scale residential and mixed-use projects.
Position Overview:
As a Senior Architect with ECE, you will play a pivotal role in leading the design and delivery of a wide range of projects. We are seeking an individual with substantial experience in medium to large scale residential projects, including mixed-use developments. Your expertise will be central in driving projects through all RIBA stages, ensuring the realisation of visionary concepts into tangible, functional spaces.
Essential Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum of 7 years qualified experience in the UK. ARB registered. Proven track record in delivering medium to large scale residential and mixed-use projects. Extensive technical proficiency acquired across a diverse range of projects, preferably encompassing a value of £5m or more. Proven track record in overseeing projects through RIBA Stages 4, 5, and 6, particularly within the residential and commercial sectors. Demonstration of advanced technical detailing abilities, accompanied by an adept understanding of contemporary construction methodologies. Ability to effectively lead project teams and collaborate with clients, consultants, and contractors. Exemplification of self-initiative and exceptional communication skills, allowing for autonomous work. Comprehensive familiarity with prevailing Building Regulations, NHBC Guidance, and housing design directives (including space standards, London Design Guide, etc.). Strong Revit experience is essential. Proficiency in NBS (Chorus) Specification software. Excellent skills in AutoCAD and general IT proficiency (Microsoft Office). Passivhaus project delivery experience would be highly advantageous.
