Part 1 Architectural Assistant (Year out)

We are currently looking for a part 1 qualified Architectural Student to join our team for a one year placement. This will be a full-time fixed-term position during which the successful applicant will be given opportunity to become involved in a wide range of projects typically in the private residential or historic buildings and ecclesiastical sectors, and at various stages from inception to on-site works.

Strong CAD, graphical, verbal and written communication skills are all essential and an understanding and interest in the cultural significance of historic buildings will be important. This is an office-based position with the ability for occasional flexible work, to facilitate collaborative work and support fulfilling PEDR requirements. 

Office hours are between 8.30am & 6pm Monday to Friday, but our full-time role is 35 hours per week (equivalent to 9am-5pm with an hour for lunch) allowing for some flexibility in regular start and finish times to overlap the core hours of between 10am and 4pm.
