TTG is seeking talented and ambitious people to fill positions at both Architect/Part 3 and Architectural assistant/Part 2 grades in our London office. These positions offer the opportunity to take a lead role in managing & delivering challenging live projects in the retail and education sectors.

Successful candidates will be office based, working in an efficient, friendly, and busy team.  We work for established blue-chip clients and our projects are located in the UK & mainland Europe.

Architect Candidates must have a minimum of 3+ years’ UK based experience post Part 3 qualification and be able to demonstrate they have worked on medium/large sized projects in the UK.  Ideally you can show us proven commercial and retail project experience.

Part 2 Architectural Assistants/Technicians/with at least 12 months’ relevant UK work experience must be proficient in AutoCAD/Revit/3D and show us that they are looking to gain experience on live site-based projects.

All staff will need to show they are:

  • Experienced user of CAD preferably AutoCAD, relevant software packages and Revit
  • Excellent technical knowledge of construction, ability to respond to technical issues arising on site.
  • You need to be a great team player; able to communicate effectively, inspire confidence and motivate – you will be required to lead & mentor your team members.
  • Highly organised and understand how to prioritise effectively and meet strict deadlines.
  • Experienced with Consent processes – planning /building regulations/landlords etc
  • Excellent communication skills and fluency in English especially with external clients
  • Proactive approach and ability to solve difficult problems efficiently.
  • Ability to work efficiently as part of a team as well as independently.
  • Able to apply attention to detail in your work.
  • UK experience and knowledge of British regulations required.

For the Architectural role your Key Responsibilities will be:

  • To act as a Job Runner/lead Architect for retail projects from inception to completion
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, and subcontractors.
  • Construction site attendance and production of progress schedules/inspection reports/meeting minutes and reviews on build quality and contract compliance
  • Preparation of feasibility/design proposals
  • Prepare production information, review, and agree construction information.
  • Review, comment, and coordinate on subcontractors / specialist designer information
  • At various times travel will be involved and you need to be prepared to do this as required
  • You need to be a great team player; able to communicate effectively, inspire confidence and motivate – you will be required to lead & mentor your team members.
