I am currently working with a RIBA chartered practice who are looking for an experienced Architectural Technologist to join their innovative team. My client design spectacular residential properties, bespoke new homes, property transformations and commercial architectural developments throughout Yorkshire and across England. Their team cover all aspects of architecture including planning departments, building regulations as well as health and safety.

The successful candidate will need to be design orientated, commercially aware, ambitious, and have the necessary skills to be client facing. This role also provides the opportunity to progress within the Practice and to build your own future.

Skills and responsibilities for this Architectural Technologist:

• Preparation of measured surveys, planning applications and building regulations applications on both domestic and commercial projects.
• Preparation of measured surveys, planning applications and building regulations applications on both domestic and commercial projects.
• Providing a practical and methodical approach to solving problems, working to fixed budgets and working within deadlines
• Good attention to detail with an ability to stay calm under pressure
• Able to produce detailed work drawing packages and accurate technical drawings
• Work cooperatively by sharing resources, information, and knowledge

Essentials needed for this Architectural Technologist

• Proficient using Autocad
• Basic understanding of Archicad
• Inspection of building work on site & running projects on site.
• Experience working on all stages of projects from inception to completion
• Able to produce and issue tender packages.
• Strong communication skills both verbal and written
• Hold a BSc Architectural Technology degree or a (HND)
• Relevant experience working as an Architectural Technologist in a UK based practice
