About the Role
The Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) is a professional membership body and a cultural institution driving excellence in architecture. We serve our members and society in order to deliver better buildings and places, stronger communities and a sustainable environment.
Reporting to the Head of Education Projects with dotted line day to day management by the Education Projects Coordinator, you will be a valued member of a small and friendly team. In this role you will provide support to projects and activities delivered by the RIBA Education Projects team, namely our internationally acclaimed programmes of scholarships and bursaries, and education awards.
You will also ensure the successful administration of funding schemes by processing and logging applications for assessment by committees and working groups and making sure that instalment payments are made on time. At specific times of the year, you will provide support to the implementation and delivery of the RIBA education awards programme by logging and formatting entries and uploading them to a dedicated website, and working on an awards ceremony, exhibition, and publications.
What are we looking for?
- Ability to work in a highly organised and resourceful manner Excellent interpersonal, numeracy and literacy skills
- Meticulous attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality Proficient in Microsoft Office programmes, particularly Teams, OneDrive, Excel and Word
- Relevant professional experience in one or more of the following areas is very desirable: event management, project management, higher education administration, arts administration, academic research, grant administration, committee support
- An appreciation of architecture, design, or other creative disciplines and professions is highly desirable
