Architectural Designer Job in Chelsea, London

Architectural Designer job now available on a contract basis! This position is likely to last until August 2023 and will see you working on high-end residential projects in the design and technical stages! This architectural practice is based in Chelsea, London, and is paying between £20 - £26 per hour!

A fantastic opportunity now exists for an experienced Architectural Designer to join an established Architecture and Design consultancy based in Chelsea Harbour on a freelance contract basis. With a prestigious client base stretching across prime areas of London, including the Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea, the practice has developed a strong reputation for delivering some of the most luxurious and bespoke properties not only in England but also in Europe, America, and Asia.

Role & Responsibilities

• You will be brought into the practice on a freelance contract basis from April to August 2023, to support their growing workload in the prime and super prime residential sector. The successful candidate will work as part of the design team and will be required to produce high-quality technical drawing packages and construction detailing for a number of complex and bespoke residential projects.

Required Skills & Experience

• Residential experience is essential, and experience within the high-end residential sector is a bonus
• An excellent knowledge of UK planning and building consents
• A minimum of 1 years UK experience
• Have an eye for good design and detailing, as well as a fantastic technical knowledge
• Be particularly confident in technical design and construction stages
• Technically strong, with an eye for detail
• NBS experience is beneficial but not essential
• The ability to carry out all aspects of detailing and construction information for residential projects
• A high level of proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit is a bonus but not essential
• Confident in hitting the ground running
• Ideally, be able to start as soon as possible or by April 2023.

What you get back
