Architectural Technician (Permanent Position)

I am currently working with a RIBA chartered practice who are looking for an experienced Architectural Technician to join their expanding team. This award-winning practice work on a diverse range of projects with many involving historic buildings. Conservation accreditation or experience is therefore preferable.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the day-to-day delivery of projects, reporting to a partner or associate partner. The role would suit a motivated individual who has good technical and management abilities. The desired candidate will have experience working as an Architect in a UK based practice.

Skills and responsibilities for this Architectural Technician:

• Practical experience including contract administration within a UK practice
• Excellent drawing and document management skills
• Producing drawings for planning and building applications
• Work cooperatively by sharing resources, information and knowledge
• Ability to multitask and assist on multiple projects at one time
• Able to take a proactive approach to problem solving and not require supervision

Essentials needed for this Architectural Technician:

• Experience in Revit, AutoCAD, 3D software packages and Adobe Creative Suite
• Experience in technical detailing and the preparation of tender documents including specifications
• Strong communication skills both verbal and written
• Good organisational and presentational skills
