I am currently working with a well-established Architectural Practice based in Surrey. They are looking for a talented Part 2 Architectural Assistant based in Surrey. This RIBA chartered practice work on a range of projects in a variety of different sectors including, residential, retail, hospitality and commercial. They specialize in working with existing buildings and advising clients on how to utilize existing structures whilst at the same time incorporating contemporary design and modern materials.

The successful candidate will need to be design focused with relevant experience in a UK based practice. They will have the opportunity to work alongside disciplined experts on challenging and exciting projects.

Skills and Responsibilities for this Part 2 Architectural Assistant role:

• Assist in the design and drawings for building regulations

• Exposure to site inspections
• Experience using MicroStation (desirable)
• Able to work effectively both as part of a team and independently
• Good time management skills, able to work on multiple projects at the same time
• In-depth knowledge of building regulations

Essentials needed for this Part 2 Architectural Assistant role:

• Strong in design skills
• Experience working in the residential sector
• Good organisational and presentational skills
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
• Able to produce high quality technical drawings
