Part 2 Architectural Assistant (Permanent Position)

Salary: Dependent on experience

I am currently working with a thriving, design lead Architectural practice based in Somerset. This award-winning practice are looking for an experienced Part 2 Architectural Assistant to join their team. They specialise in the residential sector creating uniquely tailored projects based on the clients' requirements.

The successful candidate should be design focused and have relevant experience working in a UK based architectural practice. The desired candidate should enjoy working and contributing to a strong team environment. They should also possess excellent design, presentation, and communication skills.

Skills and responsibilities for this Part 2 Architectural Assistant:

  • Ability to communicate and work effectively as part of a team
  • Experience in sustainable construction and energy efficient design
  • Strong design and technical skills
  • Working independently on concepts to comply with UK Building Regulations
  • Ability to produce creative integrated designs
  • Adopt a proactive approach to problem solving

Essentials needed for this Part 2 Architectural Assistant:

  • Strong AutoCAD, Revit and Vectorwork skills
  • Hold a master's in architecture
  • Have excellent written, graphic and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrate high level of diligence and organisational skills
  • Able to carry out studies and design proposals
