Penguin Recruitment is pleased to be supporting a medium sized team based in the heart of Leicester in a new drive for technical staff for their successful team. My client pride themselves on creating meaningful spaces through architecture, and currently work on projects covering both the Residential and Commercial sectors.
My client is looking for both Intermediate and Senior level Technicians and Technologist to join their team on a permanent basis and are AutoCAD and Revit users. The practice has also been evolving their use of Virtual Reality along side their use of 3D BIM technology.

Skills, Experience & Responsibilities for the role of Architectural Technician/ Technologist:
- Sufficient post qualification experience relevant to either Intermediate or Senior level.
- Ideally chartered or a keenness to work towards gaining your CIAT accreditation.
- AutoCAD knowledge would be essential and Revit proficiency would be highly desirable.
- Excellent technical skills matched with strong detailing skills.
- Good communication skills both verbally and written.
- The ability to work well as part of a team but also individually.
- Able to keep to strict deadlines whilst maintaining a high standard of work.
- An eagerness to support and mentor the more junior members of the team.
- Support the Directors across all RIBA stages of projects.
- If at Senior level, you should be confident running jobs from the initial stages of conception through to the final stages of competition.
