Salary: £28,000 - £35,000

Penguin Recruitment is delighted to be working with a well-established client located in the Birmingham region. My client is looking to bring an experienced Architectural Technician with industry experience across the Residential, Industrial and Education sectors to work on a variety of exciting projects for the practice.

The successful candidate will be motivated and proactive to seek new challenges and hold a strong desire to be a part of a successful team in an exciting environment.

My client is also seeking someone who demonstrates an excellent history of working with reputable firms within the UK as well as displaying excellent AutoCAD skills within a practice.

Skills and Responsibilities for this Architectural Technician role:

• To implement and assemble surveys, primary appraisal schemes, concept layouts and concluding planning layouts
• Proficient with producing planning drawings and Building Regulation drawings
• A good understanding of the CDM Regulations 2015
• To work accurately to meet deadlines, collectively working in sync with my client's team members and other external consultants
• To be up to date with the latest regulations regarding Planning and Building to plan packages and create submissions
• To implement and manage any issue tender packages

Essentials for this Architectural Technician role:

• Proficiency with AutoCAD
• A strong understanding of the current Building Regulations
• Extensive UK experience post qualification
• Experience to working on projects independently and within a team
• Previous exposure to the Residential, Industrial and Educational sectors
