I am currently working with an experienced and award-winning multi-disciplinary practice based in Manchester. They are looking for a talented Architectural Technician to join their dynamic and forward-thinking team. My client can provide initial concept planning, detailed designs, technical working drawings, as well as work alongside other professionals on residential, commercial, and industrial projects.

The successful candidate will need to be design focused and with relevant architectural experience in a UK based practice. They will have the opportunity to work on a wide variety of projects with support from disciplined experts.

Skills and responsibilities for this Architectural Technician:

• Carry out design risk assessments
• Understand environmental, legal, and regulatory issues, ensuring that all information is treated appropriately and kept confidential
• Evaluate the health and safety of design
• Assess and prepare specifications for construction
• Adopt a proactive approach to problem solving
• In depth understanding of building technology

Essentials needed for this Architectural Technician:

• High quality free hand drawings
• Strong AutoCAD or Revit skills
• Ability to make both technical and financial calculations
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
• Good organisational and presentational skills
• Socially responsible and passionate about the environment
