Hybrid Working (London based but up to 80% remote working)

About the Role

The RIBA’s Technology Department delivers the technology that underpins our organisations membership, cultural, publishing, commercial, events & back office activities.  From Customer Relationship Management to digital archives and collections – we deliver a diverse range of technology products, platforms and services. 

As we continue our transition from legacy hosted products, to cloud based SaaS/PaaS & IaaS technologies - Our dynamic team is also transitioning to an Agile / DevOps delivery model – with Frontline support and DevOps staff working collaboratively with our experienced and established PMO team. 

We are a hybrid team, working remotely up to 80% of the time – with a dedicated day each week at our HQ for collaboration and co-working. 

As our Cloud Services Analyst you will work alongside the Cloud Services Lead and Cloud Services Engineer supporting and implementing our transition to, and management of Microsoft Azure, server virtualisation, infrastructure provisioning, administering application services and databases, plus DevOps. You will assist in the active monitoring of all of our cloud environments. 

The cloud services analyst will be focused on the BAU and ongoing support of cloud and on-premises resources assisting the wider team transition to a cloud-first infrastructure. 

In addition, you will support the scanning of the horizon for new platform and cloud and hybrid cloud-based services, supporting our other colleagues to identify how the RIBA can continue to mature its service provision that will continue to address our members’ needs and support future growth of our international services.

Wondering what we are looking for?

  • You will bring relevant experience working in a 2nd line support role with experience of administering Microsoft 365 and Azure desirable. 
  • Be a strong communicator, able to effectively translate “tech-speak” into plain language
  • Be able to work across multi-functional and cultural boundaries to deliver results and change
