We are a long established, friendly practice based in Kings Cross. We have a broad portfolio (including in commercial, heritage and arts projects) but are currently working predominantly on residential and mixed-use developments at a wide range of types and scales, both new build and refurbishments/extensions.

The successful candidate will be fully involved on a wide variety of projects and across all work stages from concept design through to completion, including on site experience.

Required skills and experience:

  • Ability to work proactively in small teams and with strong communication skills
  • CAD proficiency (Vectorworks preferred)
  • Proven experience of all aspects of a project from RIBA Work Stages 1 to 5

Company

Haines Phillips Architects was formed in 2007 by the amalgamation of two accomplished award-winning firms, Andrews Downie and Partners and Knight Phillips Architects. We are based in Central London’s WC1 area within a short walking distance from King’s Cross St. Pancras. We are an RIBA Chartered Practice with a wide range of experience working in both private and public sectors. Residential development makes up the majority of our portfolio, which also includes commercial, mixed use, educational, medical, theatre, leisure and arts projects. Our work within these sectors includes Conservation and Heritage projects, some of which are Heritage Lottery funded.

Private client work and high-end residential projects in London and the southeast remain a strong part of the practice. We have a high profile in these sectors within central London generally and in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea and the City of Westminster in particular.

Our work further afield over the years has included projects literally from Land’s End to John O’Groats and several in France.
