Job Details
Planning Recruitment are currently supporting a long established, award-winning Architectural practice in East London as they look to welcome a Project Architect to their studio following a succession of new work.
Upon joining the practice, you will be responsible for running smaller projects independently whilst working alongside the Senior Team to support on larger scale projects. The practice boasts an impress portfolio of sustainable, creative, and high-quality projects in the Education, Cultural and Residential sectors. You will be responsible for leading small projects across all RIBA stages, production of early-stage design and technical packages, design team coordination and frequent client liaison. The practice is proud to design and deliver their projects, ensuring the same project team throughout meaning you will be able to see your project through.
The ideal candidate must be ARB registered and have approximately 2 – 5 years post Part 3 qualification experience or equivalent*. You will possess demonstrable experience in comfortably running small projects independently, experience across all RIBA stages with excellent design and technical abilities and be client and consultant facing. You will ideally have education or community/cultural project experience, though this is not essential and candidates with experience working on high-quality architecture will also be considered. Revit skills are an advantage and skills in AutoCAD, Adobe and SketchUp are essential.
*Where we indicate a band of PQE for a role, this indicates how long we would expect an architectural professional to take to gain the level of experience required in an appropriate context. It does not preclude applications from those with more or less PQE who can demonstrate that they have acquired the relevant experience.
In return, you will be joining a sociable, highly regarded practice currently going through a period of growth. Benefits include health insurance, 23 days holiday plus bank holidays, increasing to 28 with length of service, city breaks and weekly paid lunches.
To be considered for the role, please apply with a copy of your CV.
If you meet the criteria listed above, please apply with a copy of your CV by pressing the apply button to be considered. We receive a large number of applications so if you do not hear from us within 5 days, please consider your application unsuccessful this time. We will keep a copy of your details on file for future vacancies.
In accordance with GDPR, by applying for this position you give us your consent to process your data in-line with our Privacy and Data Protection Policies which can be read on the privacy policy page on our website.
