PART 1 ARCHITECTURAL ASSISTANT

JTP is an award winning, international placemaking practice of architects and masterplanners with our main studios in London and Edinburgh and a newly opened satellite studio in Bristol.

We undertake projects at every scale, from masterplanning cities and towns to the design and regeneration of residential-led, mixed-use neighbourhoods, streets and also individual buildings.

We are recruiting for a Part I Architectural Assistant to support a Senior Architect in our creative co-working hub in Bristol. The role will also offer the opportunity to work in our award winning London studio.     

As part of your year out in practice, you will assist on a range of bids, feasibility studies, concept and detailed designs for residential-led outline and detailed planning applications ranging in size and complexity.

Applicants must demonstrate an enthusiasm to learn along with excellent design and graphic communication skills. An interest in placemaking as well as architecture is important and a good understanding of design software packages e.g. Revit, SketchUp, Creative Suite highly advantageous.
