Hybrid Working Opportunity
We can offer a flexible working arrangement with hybrid working between home and or London office, with 2 days in the office per week and flexibility regarding the rest of the week.
About the Role
This is an exciting time to join the RIBA as we focus on our international recruitment and retention programme to increase and retain membership overseas. The postholder will be a key team player and will coordinate the work of the project delivery team particularly around volunteer management activities in 6 different global locations together with supporting large scale events across the globe.
As part of the role, the candidate will coordinate the administration of a diverse range of international programmes and chapters activities, ensuring all internal processes and targets are met. You will produce event briefings and communication plans for relevant activities to maximise member and public engagement and promote the RIBA internationally. The role will also involve managing the content of programmes and activities on website ensuring that programme schedules and information are always up to date. This includes setting up Eventbrite pages or other pages for different jurisdictions. You will undertake audience monitoring and evaluation to inform future development of programmes and activities and for continuous improvement of service delivery.
Wondering what we are looking for?
- Experience of coordinating large scale events and/or activities from concept to delivery including financial planning and monitoring
- Highly organised with the ability to manage own workloads and deal with conflicting priorities
- Strong communications and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with those from different culture and background
- Evidence of working as part of a project team, including projects being delivered within structured frameworks and monitoring of financial and non-financial outputs
- Demonstrable experience of working in an international setting with clear understanding of working with individuals from diverse background
- Experience of working with volunteers would be an advantage
Due to the nature of international work, cultural sensitivity is expected of the postholder together with flexibility to occasionally work outside normal hours of 9-5 which would be agreed by prior arrangement.
