Due to our expanding workload across the region we are currently seeking an experienced Senior Architect / Project Director (Minimum of 10 years post RIBA part 3 qualification or equivalent), to join our award-winning MENA design Studio in Dubai. Our ideal candidate needs to be highly motivated and well organised, who is experienced in the design and delivery of sustainable, complex, challenging, and innovative projects.
We are an award winning, global company, with a varied portfolio and were one the RIBA’s very first Chartered International Practices.

Strong presentation, communication and inter-personal skills are essential as the role will be client facing and project(s) team leadership, along with reporting to Board level management teams. You will be working at Project Director level with multi-disciplinary design teams, clients, and contractors in a pressurised and challenging environment.
The role will require:
Interface confidently with clients and major stakeholders.
Ensuring that all aspects of the design are managed and coordinated
Overseeing the design process using technical expertise, and management skills
Responsible for managing and directing multi-disciplinary design teams
Driving excellence in health and safety, ensuring that risks are minimized in the design process
Ensure required quality checking/approval procedures are carried out
Rigorously challenge the teams to drive efficiency and standards in design
Report to Company Directors on a regular basis regarding progress, design, quality, resources, changes, planning issues, site issues etc.
Responsible for the correctness and accuracy of their own work and the work of their team.
Responsible for ensuring compliance with all local and international standards and drive sustainable design solutions creatively
Responsible for the design quality, project planning and programming of deliverables, coordination and checking of all designs, drawings and documents released, and oversee production of construction documentation and contract administration
