Graduate Architectural Technologist Job in Vauxhall, South London

Architectural Technologist job available for a Graduate Architectural Technologist in South London! This role is suited for candidates with some experience using Revit and that are looking to progress a career in Revit and BIM!

Founded 26 years ago, my client expertise lies within residential, mixed-use, and university student housing developments in Greater London. As a practice, they undertake a range of small to large scale national and international projects, including award-winning schemes. With a diverse portfolio, the practice also works within a variety of other sectors, including commercial, retail, master planning, education, and urban design.

Having recently secured some large-scale projects, my client now looks to recruit a Graduate Architectural Technologist (with experience of Revit), to join their design team of 8 staff on a full-time and permanent basis.

Role & Responsibilities

• To begin with, you will work on the delivery of a large residential scheme
• Assist the team on a variety of other projects including residential schemes, mixed-use, commercial and public
• Use Revit and AutoCAD daily (Further Revit & BIM training can be provided)
• Drafting and producing technical detailing packages
• Work closely with the Senior Technologist/BIM Manager
• Take instruction from and effectively resource for Project Leaders and Directors
• Show your commitment and develop yourself professionally within the practice.

Required Skills & Experience

• Educated as an Architectural Technologist
• Strong technical knowledge with the ability to produce detailed drawings
• Proficient using Revit & AutoCAD, with a good knowledge of Photoshop, InDesign, and SketchUp (Further Revit training can be provided)
• Interested in progressing your career in Revit and BIM
• A good understanding of UK building regulations
• The intention to commit yourself to the practice, even when studying in the future
• Some professional working experience would be beneficial
• Able to take instruction well and use your own initiative when required
• Comfortable assisting the team on projects and working on detailed drawings
• Fantastic written and verbal English.
