Skills and responsibilities for this Architectural Technician:

• Carry out design risk assessments
• Understand environmental, legal and regulatory issues, ensuring that all information is treated appropriately and kept confidential
• Evaluate the health and safety of design
• Assess and prepare specifications for construction
• Adopt a proactive approach to problem solving
• In depth understanding of building technology

Essentials needed for this Architectural Technician:

• High quality free hand drawings
• Ability to make both technical and financial calculations
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
• Proficient use of CAD and other traditional methods
• Good organisational and presentational skills
• Strong understanding of building technology
• Socially responsible and passionate about the environment
