I am working with a professional design practice specialising in all aspects of Architectural and interior design. They are looking for an aspiring Junior Architectural Technician to join their dynamic and forward-thinking team. My client covers a wide range of projects in both the commercial and residential sectors.

The successful candidate will work closely with architects and designers to help create innovative solutions. In addition to this, the successful candidate will need have strong AutoCAD Skills and relevant UK based experience.

Skills and responsibilities for this Junior Architectural Technician:

• Ability to read and understand construction drawings
• Knowledge of construction techniques
• Carry out design risk assessments
• Understand environmental, legal and regulatory issues
• Evaluate the health and safety of design
• Assess and prepare specifications for construction
• In depth understanding of building technology

Essentials needed for this Junior Architectural Technician:

• Strong AutoCAD, Lumion and Sketchup skills
• Between 1- & 3-years' experience working in architecture
• Ensure that all information is treated appropriately and kept confidential
• Adopt a proactive approach to problem solving
• High quality free hand drawings
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
• Good organisational and presentational skills
