I am currently working with an architectural practice based in Norwich who are looking for an experienced Architectural Technician to join their dynamic and rapidly growing team. My client provides architectural design and consultancy services, covering both residential and commercial projects.

The successful candidate will demonstrate a proficiency using AutoCAD, good understanding of the UK Building regulations and at least three years' UK based experience. In addition to this, they will have the opportunity to work both as part of a team and independently. Finally, successful candidates will get the opportunity to work on a wide variety of projects across all RIBA stages.

Skills and responsibilities for this Architectural Technician:

• Liaising with building control, consultants, clients and contractors
• Experience with residential detailing
• Commercial experience desirable
• Ability to produce creative integrated designs
• Work cooperatively by sharing resources, information, and knowledge
• Able to produce detailed work drawing packages and accurate technical drawings

Essentials needed for this Architectural Technician:

• Proficient using CAD software
• CIAT Registered
• Strong communication skills both verbal and written
• Ability to work both individually and as part of a team
• Hold a BSc Architectural Technology degree or a (HND)
• High level of detailing skill
