Salary: £31,000 - £35,000 dependent on experience

Location: London (Hybrid working 2 days a week in the office)

Hours: 35 hours per week

The RIBA is looking for a dynamic and practical Specialist Registrar to support and develop the RIBA’s specialist registers. The role offers an opportunity for the right individual to join an existing team which leads and manages the RIBA’s existing specialist registers – Conservation and Client Adviser – to support and develop those registers, while also working to develop a new specialist register for Principal Designers, as proposed under the Building Safety Act.

The role requires strong administrative and problem-solving skills and would suit someone with experience of managing assessment/accreditation processes and procedures. The Specialist Registrar will be required to manage processes and procedures, while also having strong communication and interpersonal skills in order to work with various internal and external stakeholders.

Experience of the architectural profession is highly desirable, as is experience of conservation and heritage, strategic client advisory work and/or the role of Principal Designer. Experience of generating an income from a Register is desirable.

The Specialist Registrar role will be split between the two existing registers and the new specialist register.
