Senior Architectural Technologist
Due to sustained growth, Lawray is looking for a Senior Architectural Technologist to join our thriving award-winning practice. Whilst based in our London studio, our agile working policy will give you the opportunity to work with colleagues across the UK. You would be directly involved in all stages of architectural projects in the education, residential, commercial, blue light and industrial sectors.
Role summary
The ideal candidate will have experience of all RIBA work stages to develop detailed design proposals to a high standard on time and within budget. You will be working alongside architects, consultants and contractors to provide technical expertise to realise the client’s vision whilst ensuring that solutions are delivered to a high standard on site. With excellent technical and construction knowledge you will be responsible for carrying out surveys, feasibility studies, risk assessments and due diligence of design and construction information together with preparing working drawing packages in Revit. We want people who value and respect others’ views, build relationships, and seize the opportunities available to transform the environment one project at a time.
You’ll have
- MCAT chartership (desirable but not essential)
- A minimum of three years post qualification experience including leading projects
- Demonstrable skills in the use of Revit, NBS Chorus and EnScape
- Experience of delivering architectural projects under traditional and design & build procurement routes
- Client focus and commercial awareness to consolidate relationships and realise business opportunities
- Meticulous attention to detail and a desire to embrace new and innovative thinking
- Excellent written, presentation, organisational and interpersonal skills
- An enthusiastic attitude and a collaborative approach with the ability to meet deadlines
- A strong work ethic and desire to join a value-driven socially responsible practice that nurtures development, knowledge sharing and opportunities.
- Experience and knowledge of sustainable development best practice is desirable
